This month’s feature article at For The Girls is an exclusive interview with adult director and “anal queen” Tristan Taormino, who has recently released her third gonzo feature Chemistry 3. Tristan’s style of porn film is very different from the mainstream and she has deliberately set out to cater to women as well as men.

What are your thoughts on the whole concept of “porn for women”?
I am thrilled that women are being acknowledged as viewers, consumers, and lovers of porn, however I do feel like a dominant idea has emerged that what women want is a big-budget feature with a storyline. Some women want that, but not all women. I think we need to expand the notion about “porn for women,” and I hope the Chemistry series is part of that expansion. Women want gonzo, amateur, all-sex, fetish, etc. We want it all!
